No, eMule is not one of Uk's overfunded donkey farms. It is a pretty neat client for the eDonkey network. eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world.I had been dis-satisfied by the P2P networks in India. Torrent download speeds are just too slow. I have read a lot of reviews about the great speeds you get with torrents... but in my case this has always been false.
I downloaded eMule today. Found it on the top-downloaded softwares at sourceforge.
Somethings worth a mention are:
- There a large number of users( This is very important for P2P networks cause it makes it easier to find files).
- Download speeds are good( You can attribute this too to the large number of users).
- It is very easy to use. You do not have to search for seed files... like in case of torrents.
- The best part is that ..."ITS FREE."
